IMPERATIVE SENTENCES

DIRECT NARRATION	INDIRECT NARRATION
1.    I said to the boy, "Give me your pen".	1.    I requested the boy to give me his pen.
2.    He said to me, "Ring the bell".	2.    He ordered me to ring the bell.
3.    He said to me, "Do not go out in the sun".	3.    He forbade me to go out in the sun.
4.    Nadeem said to me, "Help me, please".	4.    Nadeem requested me to help him.
5.    Father said to me, "Obey your elders".	5.    Father advised me to obey my elders.
6.    He said to me, "Let me go home".	6.    He requested me to allow him to go to home.
7.    She said, "Let us go for a walk".	7.    She proposed that we should go for a walk.

IMPERATIVE SENTENCES کو INDIRECT SPEECH میں تبدیل کرتے وقت مندرجہ ذیل باتوں کو ذہن میں رکھیئے۔

1.  ایسے جملوں کے REPORTING VERB کو جملوں کی نوعیت کے مطابق ORDERED, FORBADE, ADVISE, REQUESTED یا PROPOSED میں تبدیل کردیا جاتا ہے۔

2.  ہر ایک جملے کی REPORTED SPEECH کے VERB سے پہلے TO لگادیا جاتاہے۔

3.  FORBADE کو استعمال کرتے ہوئے DO NOT کو حذف کردیا جاتا ہے کےونکہ اس کی معنی ہی منع کرنا کے ہیں۔

4.  باقی تمام VERBS, PRONOUNS کے TENSES اور مختلف الفاظ پہلے بیان کئے گئے قاعدوں کے مطابق تبدیل ہوتے ہیں۔
