EXERCISE

Convert the following into Indirect Speech:

1.                            He said to me, "Go out".

2.                            He said to his servant, "Polish my shoes".

3.                            I said to my father, "Give me ten rupees, please."

4.                            He said to his brother, "Speak the truth".

5.                            Father said to me, "Don't tell a lie".

6.                            The teacher said to the boys, "Sit down".

7.                            Father said to me, "Don't drive so fast".

8.                            I said to my father, "Please take me to the Zoo".

9.                            He said to the students, "Do not make a noise".

10.                       The Headmaster said to the boys, "Don't waste your time".

11.                       He said to me, "Wait for me here".

12.                       Mother said her son, "Don't mix up with bad boys".

13.                       I said to my uncle, "Give me your watch".

14.                       The General said, "Advance, my men".

15.                       The boy said to the teacher, "Please accept my application".

16.                       The teacher said to Ahmed, "Be regular and punctual.

17.                       She said to me, "Don't waste your time".
